On May 11th , at the Croatian Chamber of Economy, took place the fourth meeting of the Steering Committee of Leonardo da Vinci project “EFFIVET”.The project meeting was attended by one representative from each partner involved in the project.
The participants were welcomed by INTELIGENTNA ENERGIJA, partner in charge of the organization of this fourth meeting.
EXTREMADURA ENERGY CLUSTER, project coordinator, presented the summary of the third meeting and reviewed the agenda to be carried out during the fourth project meeting and the workshop with experts on 12th of May.
Also, GLOBAL COMMERCIUM presented the final version of the EU Competence Profile, obtained as a result of compiling the information gathered by all the national competence profiles that had been developed by the consortium for each partner country.
The Workshop was successfully performed with the cooperation of 19 experts and 12 people belonging to the Consortium (total 31 participants). The Participants, organized by groups, were reviewing the Energy Efficiency Manager Curriculum, making their contributions and generating a very interesting debate.

- To be admitted for the qualification employees/applicants should have a technical university degree or proved professional experience in the energy sector.
- It is agreed to keep 100 hours for qualification. Afterwards each country will have the freedom to adjust the hours of the qualification, in order to adapt it better into their training systems.
- The last two optional units (Maintaining and Repairing) will be substantially reduced,
Finally the document was validated and bfw will deliver the final version of the curriculum soon, with all the modifications from the experts network.
The project leader, ANESE (Spanish Association of Energy Services Companies), presented the activity of EFFIVET profile in social networks and website, reviewed Communication tasks carried out by the consortium so far, and the steps which will be held in the next months.
The conclusion of this meeting is the necessity to communicate the results of this experts network and the partners’ work, to the national authorities of education and training, in order to demand the adaptation of the energy manager curriculum into each national regulation.
Moreover, in a few months the project will be finished and all the materials will be available to the public.
