The project aims to develop a VET structure for the energy efficiency sector by the transfer of methods. Based on these previous experiences, EFFIVET will identify skills and competences needs to be covered by training, and will adapt the tools developed in SolTec project to obtain a Competence Profile, an EU Curriculum, and a Qualification structure of the Energy Manager. This project started last October and this plan will last two years.
Last March, the consortium (composed of 8 partners from 6 countries; Spain, Croatia, Germany, Romania, Malta and Cyprus) of EFFIVET project held a second meeting in Romania. At this meeting, Work Package 2 (WP2), research and analysis of existing concepts, were reviewed. In this review all partners presented their conclusion of the desk research and needs analysis carried out in each partner country.
On the one hand, in this meeting ANESE presented the draft of the project website and the Communication Plan. Also, an expert from Oltenia presented “Complex Energetic Oltenia and its actions in the energy efficiency field. AEPPMDD presents the main results of the reports and the strengths and weaknesses of the WP management.
On the other hand, Extremadura Energy Cluster explained the main tasks of the WP 3 (skill analysis concepts development), WP 4 (vet structures development) and presented of the previous Leonardo project results. Also, this association defined strengths and weaknesses detected in the project on-going: timing, tasks, communication flows and reviewed the work for the other days and other meeting.
Finally, the main objectives were defined by all partners and the next steps were defined too. These steps will be the development of an EU Curriculum and the production of the learning units for the Qualification Structure and technical terms. Also, all of them seek the dissemination of the EFFIVET project because this project aims to define Energy Manager.
